Casey Pachall Withdraws from TCU After DUI Arrest

After being upset 37-24 by Iowa State in Fort Worth, ending their 12 game winning streak, the Horned Frogs Quarterback, Casey Pachall withdrew from school to enter a drug and alcohol treatment center.

Pachall was arrested for DWI earlier this week and also failed a drug test earlier this year. TCU coach Gary Patteson said the treatment should last between 30 to 60 days and Pachall has the opportunity to re-enroll at TCU in January.

Drunk Drivers Crash into each other

In Albany, New York a woman and man crashed their cars into each other. Both drivers, according to police, were legally drunk.

Jaide Rios and James Macarelli crashed into each other as they came the opposite ways through an intersection at 3:34 am on Sunday.

The 21 year-old Rios had a blood alcohol content of over .20 and both drivers were charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

NC Candidate for House Arrested for DWI

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Mebane city council member who’s running for the state Legislature is apologizing after she was charged with driving while impaired.

Highway Patrol troopers stopped Democrat Patty Philipps early Saturday on Interstate 40 in Burlington. Troopers say she had a .15 percent blood alcohol level. The legal limit in North Carolina is .08 percent.

Philipps is running for a state House seat against Republican candidate Steve Ross. She says she made a serious mistake, and she apologized to her family, friends and the community.

D.J. Williams Conviction of DWI Extends His Ban From NFL

DJ WIlliamsD.J. Williams was supposed to return to playing with the Denver Broncos in October after being banned for violating the league’s banned-substances policy, but that has now been extended to November after his conviction of DWI last month.

Williams was originally banned from the NFL for failing a drug test in the summer when he turned in a “non-human” sample instead of his own.

Hulk Hogan’s Ex-Wife, Linda Hogan Arrested for DWI

Linda Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife, was pulled over at 1:30 am yesterday and registered a blood alcohol content of .084. She was arrested and charged with DWI in Malibu, California.

Linda Hogan denies her drinking had anything to do with Hulk Hogan’s recently released sex tape that has been circulating. “She regrets it. She’s a mom, so she’s embarrassed about it,” according to her lawyer Raymond Rafool.

Archbishop Jokes About Driving Drunk

The new Roman Catholic archbishop of San Francisco assumed his position by making light of his recent drunk driving arrest, all the while ignoring the distress his promotion has caused the gay-friendly city of San Francisco.

Archbishop Salvatore Joseph Cordileone thanked the more than 2,000 guests at his installation mass that he appreciated their support when he was recently arrested.

“I know in my life God has always had a way of putting me in my place. I would say, though, that in the latest episode of my life God has outdone himself,” Cordileone said with a little laugh while delivering his first homily as archbishop.

Casey Pachall: TCU Quarterback Charged with DWI

Casey Pachall was suspended from Texas Christian football indefinitely only hours after being charged with drinking and driving, His blood alcohol content was above the legal limit of .08 although the specific reading was not given. He was arrested for running a stop sign near the school’s campus.

The arrest is expected to seriously hurt the 15th-ranked Horned Frogs’ push for a Big 12 title.

School Bus Driver Charged with DWI

A school bus driver in Syosset, NY was charged with drinking and driving after crashing his mini-bus into a house. The 66 year-old Frederick Flowers was charged by Nassau County Police with aggravated driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment.
