Former Marlboro principal pleads guilty to DWI

The former Principal of Marlboro High School, Gerald North has pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated.

North was sentenced at Millstone Township Municipal Court for his arrest of DWI on March 7th, charges of driving with a minor and failure to stay in his lane were dropped. The former Principal was pulled over at 1:54 am on Rt. 537 by Six Flags Great Adventure.

North resigned from the Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education March 22nd and was placed on administrative leave until the end of the school year when his resignation became effective.

    He actually applied for a vp position at another school and almost got it but didn’t then they were going to make him a sub but the Plumbsted boe came to their senses and voted in a split vote not to let him. Why would anyone let a drunk driver educate teennage students? Sad thing is he’ll end up teaching somewhere.
