Man gets DWI after cops put him in cab

Roy Mark Marshall of St. Petersburg, Florida was drinking at a bar Monday night, when an employee noticed he was obviously intoxicated and called the local police. The policeman then encouraged Marshall to take a taxi home rather than drive, even went as far as to call a cab service for the drunken man.

The deputy then watched Marshall drive away in a cab, only to see the taxi return five minutes later and Marshall then get out. The intoxicated man proceeded to get into his truck and attempt to drive home, when he was booked for a DWI and taken to the Naples Jail Center.

Looks like Florida needs Sober Sam, he could have gotten his truck home and himself without a DUI.
