NJ man sentenced for fatal drunk driving crash

PATERSON, N.J. — A man from northern New Jersey has been sentenced to 4 years in prison when he killed one woman and injured two others from a car accident caused by his drinking and driving.

Roger Gallego of Paterson is resquired to serve 85 percent of the sentence imposed Friday before becoming considered for parole. He will also serve five years of supervised release once he’s freed, but he will not have a driver’s license for the first 10 years he is released from prison.
